The Tree Doctor was set up to provide tree surgery and arboricultural services for Wetherby, Harrogate, Sicklinghall, Linton, Boston Spa, Collingham, Thorner, Bardsey, Scarcroft, Spofforth, Alwoodley, Shadwell, Clifford, Bramham, Tadcaster, Stutton and surrounding areas.
The Tree Doctor is owned by me Jonathan Foster, I have over 30 years experience as an arborist and established the business in Wetherby in 2001.
I was employed for 3 years by a tree surgery firm in Leeds, before completing an NCH (Arb) at Merrist Wood College in Surrey. I then worked in Sweden, Germany and Australia; to improve my arboricultural knowledge and skills. I returned to England and worked for an arboricultural contractor in the York area and one in the Channel Islands.
I studied at Askham Bryan College, York and obtained a Tech. Cert. (Arbor.A) a well respected qualification awarded by the Arboricultural Association, the main industry organisation in the UK.
I'm always happy to give advice on tree care and maintenance. For a free quotation, you can contact me at
